Green Line First Ride Event
In the summer of 2009, TriMet, the main public transit agency for the Portland, Oregon metro area, gave a public demonstration of its new Green Line light rail line and downtown Transit Mall renovation.
This production includes interviews with TriMet General Manager Fred Hansen, City of Milwaukie Councilor Greg Chaimov, Oregon First Congressional District Representative David Wu, and TriMet Executive Director for Capital Projects Neil McFarlane, as well as speeches by Oregon U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley and Oregon Third Congressional District Representative Earl Blumenauer.

Secretary LaHood's Remarks at Streetcar Unveiling
In July of 2009, the first modern streetcar produced in the United States in many decades was formally unveiled for the public. This video features the remarks of the Obama administration's new Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood, as he presided over the ceremonies.
